Summer is beginning and VBS is coming around the corner! Here are the “need to know” details.

• Date:  August 3-7
• Time: 6:30 – 8:30 (Please come a few minutes early to check in)
• Cost:  FREE!

It is strongly encouraged that you do attend VBS with your child or children. However, if for some reason you cannot, your child may be registered with another family. All participating children MUST be enrolled with an adult who will be responsible for them.

3. What is the focus or goal of the program?

We are going to create a fun, Biblical environment where families can grow and learn together. This VBS will show how the early Christians paved the way for the faith we share today.

4. What ages are invited to participate?

ALL ages! There will be optional childcare for 0-2 year olds. All other family members are invited to participate.  Keep in mind: the target age of each environment will be preschool through elementary students. Please have every member accounted for on the registration form.

5. What does a typical night look like?

You and your family will arrive at DAC around 6:25pm and head straight to your family leader in the Sanctuary for Extollo (Praise Time). You will be lead around the Market Place, Underground Church, Paul’s House, and Apprenticeship Games for the remainder of the evening. Each night you will make crafts, learn about Paul’s travels and the church in Rome, as well as try your hand at Roman jobs, Olympic sports, and Roman army training.  The night will end with Family time and Extollo.
