Gift of Salvation

• Ephesians 2:8 says salvation “is the gift of God”
• Ephesians 2:1-3 says salvation is necessary because:
  • Spiritual deadness’
  • Our flesh is our passion
  • God is angry about sin
• Titus 3:5 says we are “saved by the Holy Spirit”
• Do you know if you are saved from God’s judgment?

Gift of Faith

• Ephesians 2:8 says “faith is the gift of God”
• Faith is trusting what God says in the Bible!
  • I’m a sinner
  • There is judgment for my sins
  • Jesus was punished for me
  • I place my trust in God
• Have you placed your total trust & confidence in Jesus for forgiveness & salvation?

Gift of Justification

• Romans 3:24 says “we are justified by His grace as a gift”
• To be justified means…
  • To free a man/woman from his/her guilt
  • To say a guilty man/woman is righteous

• Can you stand before God on your own and justify your life to Him?

Gift of Righteousness

• Romans 5:17 says, “the free gift of righteousness”
• This means….
  • God declares me righteous in Christ
  • Holy Spirit enables me to do righteous deed
• Can you stand before God & say you’ve lived righteously? Perfectly?

Gift of Eternal Life

• Romans 6:23 says, “but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”
• Eternal life is…
  • Alive even though you die
  • Forever with God
• Are you sure you will live forever with God?
