Pastor Mike and Missy Brownfield, Madison, Cameron and Caden
Mike Brownfield: Senior Pastor
Mike and Missy joined Dorseyville Alliance Church in November 2003 after ministering in Michigan for over seven years. They are originally from Ohio, which explains Mike’s affinity for the Cleveland Browns. After marrying in 1992, Mike attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, where he received a Master’s degree in Divinity.
Missy Brownfield: Volunteer Coordinator
Missy also graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and Religious Education. In May of 2007, Missy joined the church staff as the Volunteer Coordinator.
Mike and Missy homeschool their three children. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, entertaining, and being involved in lots of activities.
Pastor Scott and Heather Prentice,Hope, Erica, and Addison
Scott Prentice: Pastor of Worship & Administration
Scott and Heather have been married for six years and have three young daughters.
Scott was raised in southwest Florida and western Pennsylvania where he graduated from Butler High School in 1995. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Church Music from Toccoa Falls College in northeast Georgia as well as a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College. On the side, he works as a private music teacher of voice, trumpet, piano, and guitar.
Before children came along, Heather was a full-time teacher. Now, she works part-time as a preschool teacher in Allison Park and directs the church’s MOPS program. In their spare time, the Prentices enjoy spending time as a family and playing games with friends.
Jason and Stephanie Arnold
Jason Arnold: Director of Children’s Ministries
Jason and Stephanie were married in 2006 and have two small puppies (Bennett and Mayer). Jason was raised in New Kensington, PA and graduated from Valley High School in 2001. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.
Jason has worked in the emotional support department at Springdale High School for two years. He previously served as a worship leader and youth director. In his free time, he gives private guitar and beginner piano lessons.
Stephanie works in the Customer Relations department of Dick’s Sporting Goods. She enjoys serving on the worship team and in Children’s Ministry. Together Jason and Stephanie like to cook, play music, and spend time with their families.
Jack and Carol Grunden
Carol Grunden: Secretary
Carol and Jack have spent their lives in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. Married in 1966, they have three adult children and five young grandchildren. Their family brings them joy and fulfillment. They enjoy spending time with all their family and many friends.
They have been attending the church for well over 20 years. They have volunteered in many capacities over the years. In May of 1997, Carol became the church secretary. She loves the church very much and is excited to be a part of its impact on so many lives.
